Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Sidhartha Mallya, the owner of Kingfisher Airlines, judged models for the Kingfisher Calendar 2011 in Mumbai on October 26.
Many aspiring models took part in the contest with the hope of appearing in the limited edition Kingfisher swimsuit calendar.

The 18-year-old Miss America Alexandria Mills, was crowned the 60th Miss World 2010 title at the Beauty Crown Theatre, Sanya, China on Saturday evening. The First runner up was Miss Emma Wareus of Botswana and Miss Adriana Vasini of Venezuela was placed third in the beauty pageant. Miss India World Manasvi Mamgai failed to finish among the top 20 contestants. The gala-event kicked off with a traditional Chinese dance, followed by the introduction of the 120 contestants from across the globe. The Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi tied knot with Priyanka Alva at Alva’s residence in Bengaluru, 30th October, 2010. The wedding ceremony kicked off with a mehndi brunch. The function includes haldi and chura ceremony, sehra bandi, baarat, jayamala, pheras, dinner and a music concert.
